What is a Logomark (or Brandmark)?

Logomarks (also called brandmarks) are logos conveyed exclusively through a symbol, emblem, or some kind of imagery. Brands typically transition their logos to brandmarks once they’ve gained recognition by the masses and can afford to remove their company name from their logo.
